IMS is launching a new youth hub

 Dear colleagues,

For the past three years the Azerbaijan Media Center has operated as a central place for journalists, editors, mangers… shortly, everyone working with the media and especially for youth. In December, the Media Merkezi merged with the human rights focused Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, and is launching a new and improved youth hub, the Youth Media Center

December 07, Baku International Media Support (IMS) is pleased to announce the merger of its project Azerbaijan Media Center (AMC) and a local media organization, Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety. “AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL” RELEASES REPORT CRITICIZING AZERBAIJANI GOVERNMENT

“The international community must not turn a blind eye to human rights violations in Azerbaijan”,  Amnesty International said today in a press conference held at the Azerbaijan Media Center. The purpose of the conference was to unveil a new report cataloguing the clampdown on dissent since protests erupted in the country in March of this year.
